Music and sound therapy are as old as our civilization. Instruments with different tones have been cited in literature dating back to the BC era. Specifically, tune-based instruments have been used to modulate human functioning, including cognitive, emotional, psychological, behavioral, social, physiological, spiritual, and aesthetic. Today, advances in the art and science of sound healing continue to use specifically crafted sounds in order to induce positive therapeutic and spiritual effects.

And it is not just us humans that have learned to reap these benefits of sound; there is evidence that cats evolved to use sound therapy much earlier than humans. By purring at specific frequencies they enhance healing in their bones.

Among the various specially crafted Solfeggio Frequencies, 528 hertz (Hz) (also known as the ‘Love Frequency’) is perhaps the best known and most widely used. This musical tone is also known as the ‘miracle tone’ and has been used in native populations as a sound associated with blessings and meditation.

At Olga Music 528 LLC, we have embraced the healing influence of the 528 Hz frequency tone. In our latest album, ‘My Soul, Vibration of Love’, we added a low sound volume at 528 Hz frequency to Olga France’s original music as an extra gift to our listeners. The purpose of doing this was to introduce the added benefit of the therapeutic effect of the 528 Hz frequency while listening to Olga’s music.

We are pleased that recent scientific discoveries continue to support the healing and calming properties of the 528 Hz frequency tone.

In a scientific paper published by the Journal of Addiction and Research Therapy, researchers reported that 528 Hz waves enhanced anti-oxidant activity by up to 100% in human cells in vitro. 528 Hz waves also protected central nervous system cells exposed to ethanol by 20%, suggesting that the frequency could potentially be used as a treatment for alcoholism.

Another scientific paper describes the influence of various intensities of 528 Hz sound-waves in the production of testosterone in mammalian brains and the corresponding behavioral changes. Based on their data, researchers concluded that their ‘study may lead to possible therapy in which sounds may be utilized to reduce anxiety in individuals’.

But perhaps the most clear and conclusive data about specific and positive influences of the 528 Hz frequency tone was recently demonstrated by a group of doctors at the Center for Advanced Kampo Medicine and Clinical Research, School of Medicine, at Juntendo University, Tokyo, Japan.

In their study they examined the stress-reducing effect on the endocrine system and the autonomic nervous system of 528 Hz vs. 440 Hz music. The results indicated that the influence of music varies depending on the frequency of the music and, furthermore, that 528 Hz music contains a potent stress-reducing effect, even following only five minutes of exposure.

We hope and trust that our listeners will enjoy our music and will benefit from the healing vibrations of the miracle 528 frequency.
